Collection of microforms
Since 2006 the library forms a collection on microfiches.
More than 10,000 photographs of monuments of history and culture from various cities and localities, views of cities, squares, parks and other urban objects, plans of cities across Europe and Africa are presented in the collection in a large volume, as well as monuments of fine art and architecture, images of exterior and interior of buildings, plans and sections of constructions, photographs from museums’ and private collections, objects of different exhibitions.
One of the most interesting publications on microfiche is Marburger Index, collection of photographic material on microfiches from the largest photo archive of architecture and art of the city Marburg and 80 partner organizations of this Center.
